The Tigers closed the regular season facing off against their old foe, Hatch Valley. After four quarters of play in a game where the Tigers led throughout. when the final horn blew the Tigers owned their hosts stadium, with a 26-15 win that ended a drought that stretched back to 2011. As the Bears limped off the field, the visitors stands emptied and Tiger fans poured onto the field to celebrate with the team.

Though the Bears managed to score twice, in possession after possession, the Tigers' Blue Swarm pushed them backwards down the field, forcing punt after punt, and two turnovers on downs. Tiger offense punched holes in the home team's line and the Bears could not stop the Tigers passing or running game.

With the State Championship Playoff brackets due to be released Saturday, November 2, the Tigers are in excellent position, and are waiting to see if they get an invitation to the dance.
