Tiger football finished their season at the State Championship Playoffs, going on the road to take on West Las Vegas last Saturday. Though losing the game, 48-12, the Tigers achieved beyond what the pundits predicted for their season. They got into the playoffs, a dance they have looked at from the outside for five years. The Tigers also closed out the regular season on the road in Hatch where they dominated, coming home with a victory over the Bears, for the first time since 2011.

With over 15 freshmen on the team, the Tigers are already looking ahead to next summer, when practice can begin, and we can turn the lights back on at Tiger Stadium Friday nights.

See this Friday's Sentinel for the full story, and a deep look into the season.
