In the heat of summer and the cold late October nights, on the sidelines leading the cheer and performing stunts you will always find the Tigers cheer team. They lead the cheer at football, volleyball and basketball, all the while working to perfect their own routine for the cheer and spirit competitive season. Their season begins in pre-season training and practice in June and July and finally ends at the state championships, late in March.

Some stunts involve tossing a teammate high into the air. Imagine being 18 feet above ground, and coming down facing upward, never seeing where you will land by trusting your team to catch you safely. Throwing a person, 100 pounds or more and then catching them. All in a days work for the cheer team athletes.
