I would like to see Truth or Consequences consider replacing the (swimming) pool entirely and building a hot springs pool like Pagosa Springs CO, Ouray CO, or Glenwood Springs pool in Colorado. It could be a free flowing pool open all year round and being fed by the hot springs. These pools on the Colorado are open all year long and do not have an enclosure because of the constant warm temperatures. It would be another way to attract tourism to the area as well.

I would also like to know why the Dam Site Restaurant is closed? It's such a wonderful facility just decaying. It would be a great place for weddings, or special parties and of course in summertime evenings. Something should be done to open it again. I would love to see it used as a brewery, or even have food trucks out there and just have the facility serve pre-packaged snacks. Anything is better than letting it rot!
