Mary H. Torres, 70, a resident of Truth or Consequences since 1989, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2019.She was born on May 17, 1949 in Deming, NM to Jose Manuel and Aurelia (Casillas) Holguin. Mary was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Revival Church. She enjoyed reading her bible and was strong in her faith, always praising the Lord.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Epifanio G. Torres; son, Epifanio H. Torres, Jr. and wife, Irene; grandchildren: Epifanio B. Torres, III, Enedina Torres and husband, Duey, and Zack T. Grimes; mother, Aurelia Holguin; sister, Betty Aldaco; and brothers: Manuel Holguin, James Holguin and Alex Holguin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Manuel Holguin; son, Herman H. Torres; and daughter, Lucy Torres. Viewing for family and friends was held on Monday, November 11, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. at the Kirikos Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Services were held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at 10:00a.m. at the New Hope Revival Church, with Pastor Caleb Cooper officiating. Interment followed at Vista Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as Casket Bearers were Juan Solis, Raymond Torres, Lazaro Garcia, John Michael Armijo, Dolores Lucero and Alex M. Holguin.

Mary’s family would like to thank Sierra Home Health and Hospice, the members of the New Hope Revival Church and Mrs. Penny for their loving care and support.
