It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grand- father, brother, uncle and friend, Eduardo S. Montoya.

Eddy or Kellico, as he was fondly known, went to be with our Lord on September 11, 2019. He was born on October 1, 1938 in Hillsboro, New Mexico to Evaristo and Onesima Montoya.

Eddy was a lifelong resident of Hillsboro and Williamsburg, where he resided with his wife and children. He worked most of his life as an automotive mechanic and en- joyed various outdoor activities. Eddy took pride in his Native American heritage and often shared his native values with those he came in contact with.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, JoAn; two sons: Buddy and Dennis Montoya of Truth or Consequences, NM; and adopted daughter, Lorraine Garcia, of Las Cruces, NM. Other survivors include two grandchildren: Steven Montoya, Robert (Christina) Montoya; three great grandchildren: Bronson Smith, Evelee and Ryan Montoya; three brothers: Braulio (the late Etta) Montoya, Joe (Callie) Montoya, and Bob (Narene) Montoya; two sisters: Nellie (the late George) Reynolds and Josie (Gilbert) Zamora; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his par- ents; his son, Steve Montoya; brother, Lupe Montoya; and granddaughter in law, Miranda Montoya.
