An account has been set up at Citizen’s Bank for Rick Hunt of Elephant Butte who was injured in a serious ATV accident over the New Year’s holiday. Rick and Barbara Hunt have been familiar faces in Elephant Butte for years. Hunt remains in serious condition in a Trauma Center in Palm Springs, California as of press time.

The account set up at Citizen’s Bank will assist the Hunts with the unexpected medical expenses. The account is under the name of Barbara Hunt and Lynn Cramer c/o Rick Hunt, and donations may be made at the T-or-C branch of Citizen’s Bank.

Meanwhile, a Go Fund Me account has been set up for a Las Cruces family who has ties to T-or-C. Ben and Karen Venable lost everything in a tragic house fire on New Year’s Eve. Venable’s son is a lieutenant for the T-or-C Police Department.

Information available indicates the fire was caused by an electrical issue and the couple, along with their daughter, Karen, lost all of their personal belongings. Donations maybe made to the Venable family at https://gofund.me/5a9f15fc
