The groundwork for the first apartment complex in the City of T-or-C in more than 30 years has been underway for nearly a year. A grand celebration with an official ground breaking for the apartment complex on Pershing was held Friday, November 1.

Through a working partnership with financial provider Bank of the Southwest, and Las Cruces based Bear Creek construction company the two-story, six unit the complex is a dream come true for Reynato and Laura Ariola and their family. The sense of accomplishment and pride in the project was abundant as the group gathered with friends, family and officials during the ceremony.

Pictured above, commemorating the event is, Laura and Reynato Ariola along with their daughter Elisha Nicole Ariola, realtors from Homesteaders Realty Rachel Woodward and Cathy Vickers, on behalf of Bear Creek Builders Chris and Ray Franich and Alonzo Pendroza, Bank of the Southwest President Jason Garcia, City of T-or-C Planner Tracy Burnette and Attorney Jay Rubin, along with friends and relatives Evangeline Hernandez, Rosa Armendariz, Alma Griffee, Joss and Hazel Aquino, Dian Deva, Mark Velasco, Sharon Ablan and Mr. and Mrs. Collins.

Construction of the complex is expected to be completed during 2020.
