The month of October is for survivors of domestic violence. The color purple is meant to be a symbol of peace, courage, survival, and dedication to ending violence. So, in dedication to this month the local Domestic Abuse Intervention Center has been working to hang purple ribbons throughout downtown and at some local businesses to support survivors and victims of domestic. DAIC would like to thank the local businesses who are displaying the ribbons as well as Broadway Florist for making them.
